When a member of Second Chanced for Life, their
spouse, or a special friend dies, we try to post a notice here to keep members and friends informed of the loss.
Jean Loken died July 17, 2010 while under
hospice care at home. She received her heart on July 6, 1995, and received the
315th heart to be transplanted at the University of Minnesota Medical
Center, Fairview. She was a supportive member of Second Chance for Life. Please

Joan Marie Stensgard died April 7, 2010 in
Rochester, MN. She was heart transplant number 69 at the University of
Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview. She was born February 7, 1931.
