Cal Stoll, Executive Director
|
Cal Stoll served as head football
coach at Wake Forest University from 1969 to 1971. He served as head
coach at the University of Minnesota from 1972-78 where he had a 39-39
record, and where he coached current NFL coach Tony Dungy.
In 1987 Cal underwent a life-saving
heart transplant. In 1988 Second Chance for Life
Foundation was founded.
Cal
served as the volunteer executive director of the Foundation until his
death in August 2000.
